Advantages of Legal Staffing Health Insurance CoverageThere is a 90 day waiting period before new employees hired in the future are eligible to enroll in health benefits. Coverage begins the 1st day of the month following 90 days of consecutive employment. If your company currently sponsors a group health insurance, the waiting period is waived for all employees who are enrolled in that plan. Employees Eligible for InsuranceAt least 75 percent of the benefit-eligible employees, those working 30 hours or more per week and having completed 90 days of the new employee trial period, must be enrolled in the LegalStaffing’s health care plan (this does not include employees who are currently covered by a spouse or parents plan). Workers’ Compensation PolicyLegalStaffing will maintain a workers’ compensation policy. You report job-related injuries or illnesses to LegalStaffing and we do the administrative paperwork. If you wish to maintain your current workers’ compensation policy, we can arrange for direct billing to LegalStaffing. We work together to manage the cost of workers/ compensation insurance. Property Liability InsuranceYou may be able to reduce your property liability insurance premiums now without changing the coverage. The portion of your premium calculated on gross wages may no longer apply. If your insurance agent is unfamiliar with contracting your personnel functions through LegalStaffing, we will be happy to explain how this system works. Human Resource Management If you have a question about state and federal regulations, salary administration, employee policies, health insurance, and other matters, we are here to help you. We help you deal with the changing and complex issues of human resource management.
