SUBJECT: Using Short Form Loan Policy for Insuring Second Security Deeds or Insuring Construction Loans
If you are using the Short Form Residential Loan Policy to insure a second or other junior security deed it is easy to forget to show the first, or prior security deed(s) as an exception. Please remember to check the box marked " Addendum Attached" and then attach an Addendum listing the first or prior security deed(s) as an exception on the policy.

In addition, if you are using the Short Form for insuring construction loans, please be sure to add an Addendum and place the Pending Disbursement paragraph on it. This paragraph can be found in your Agent's Manual.
