SUBJECT: SPECIALLY DESIGNATED NATIONALS AND BLOCKED PERSONS
Below is a copy of First American's Home Office Underwriting Bulletin Number 68 relating to Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons. If you are asked to insure a transaction in which you suspect that one or more of the individuals in the transaction may have been involved in illegal activities, we ask that you check the federal government's web site as outlined in the attached bulletin to determine if that individual or individuals are on the list.

Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons -
FDIC memo # "FIL-53-2001, June 18, 2001 ".

On June 1, 2001, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) amended its listing of specially designated nationals and blocked persons by adding twelve new names to its list of Specially Designated Narcotics Traffickers. Additional A/K/A (Also/Known/As) information has also been added to many names on the list.

Attached is information from OFAC containing all changes to the list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons since January 1,2001. OFAC information may also be found on the Internet at http://www.treas.gov/ofac/. For further information about Executive Orders, the list of blocked accounts or procedures to block accounts, please call OFAC's Compliance Programs Division at 1-800-540-6322.

For your reference, all FDIC updates published since January of 1995 may be found on the FDIC's Web site at http://www.fdic.gov under "News, Events & FOIA". This site provides a chronological listing by year, month, letter number and subject.
